Yes and No! Here at The Performance Balance, we can discuss different approaches depending on your goals and what works better for you. Also, depending on where are you at your nutritional literacy, sometimes is better to have an structure at the beggining, sometimes is better to start with a flexible approach. We believe that knowledge is power and we prefer to teaching you how to eat and not telling you what to eat. The entire point of T.P.B. is to empower you to the point of never needing another nutrition coach again.
No, you do not. We’re in the business of creating healthy dietary changes, and although a workout program can be an added benefit to leading a healthy lifestyle, it’s not a requirement to working with us.
All of our coaching services are nutrition ONLY and do not come with a workout or training program. If you would like to add on a training program we can recommend you to personal trainners or Fitness assessor.
We have a fully integrated software platform that you will log in to communicate with your coach. You will submit weekly check-ins and receive feedback within 48 hours. You can also send your coach message depending on the program you are sign in. All communication is done through the messaging feature in our software. It’s important to us that all of our clients receive the same level of service, therefore we need to keep all communication in one place. This also allows you and your coach to quickly reference everything you’ve discussed at any point in time as needed. Phone calls and texting are not included in our service. Also depending on the program that you choose you will have weekly or forthnightly 1 to 1 check-ins.

When you work with a Registered Nutritionist, your health insurance plan may cover some or all of your consultation cost. Please review your health insurance policy, to determine whether you’re eligible for cover. Consults must be attended and paid for by the client before or on the day of the consult, after which you can send your receipt to your insurer for reimbursement of your claim.

To optimize the efficiency of your scheduled appointment, we kindly advise completing the health, diet, and lifestyle questionnaire at your earliest convenience or a few days prior to your appointment. Additionally, we would greatly appreciate your cooperation in filling out a 3-day food diary, enabling us to gain insights into your regular dietary patterns. Should you possess any recent blood test or other pertinent health test results from your physician, we encourage you to bring them along for our reference.
An initial consultation is 60 minutes for an individual, or 105 minutes for a couple. Follow up appointments can be either 45, 30 or 15 minutes for individuals, or 45 minutes for couples. The length of time for follow up consultations can be discussed with your nutritionist prior to booking them, depending on your needs.
Depends! Our nutritionist can help you with a range of health issues, and we are not limited to the services listed on the website, but Please contact us using the contact form on the website to discuss further.
There is no time limit on follow-up packages and you can book up as much follow up consultations as you need but the main idea is to empower you so you dont need any coach in the future. For the 8 weeks and 12 weeks programs ideally you will nail it straight up but it is also fine if you need to delay due to life getting in the way, but be aware that the result may not be the same.
If for any reason you find it difficult to keep your appointment time, we kindly ask you to get in touch with us via phone or email to reschedule. We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide us with at least a 48-hour notice, as this allows us to offer the time to another person who is seeking assistance on their health journey. In the event of a cancellation without a 48-hour notice, there may be a cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation cost, which helps cover the time we have set aside.
